Coca-Cola Decides to Charter Bulkers for their Product

Global brand Coca-Cola opts for bulk carriers to carry its products amid a shipping crunch that is currently plaguing logistics worldwide.

Instead of using containerships, the three bulk carriers will charter its product to ports that are deemed not to be congested.

Coca-Cola’s procurement director stated on October 1 via LinkedIn, “When you can’t get container’s or space due to the current ocean freight crisis, then we had to think outside the box.”
