Port of Rotterdam Discovers Cocaine Worth US$121 million

Drug Bust at Port of Rotterdam in Netherlands

On September 29 officials at the Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands found hidden inside a cocoa container approximately 1,400kg worth of cocaine valued at US$121 million bound for a firm in France.

The drugs were to have initially come from Columbia, according to the investigative report released by the Public Prosecution Service’s Rotterdam office (OM).

Just last September 18, upon inspection another 4,000 kg of cocaine was seized to be worth US$348 million.
