Three Additional Container Ships Ordered by Eastern Pacific
Additional Expansion of Eastern Pacific’s Fleet
After previously ordering four ships in June from China-based New Times Shipbuilding, Eastern Pacific Shipping has turned around and now ordered an additional three vessels.
The three ships from this newbuild order are all 7,000TEU container ships which have been ordered by other Asian shipping companies as of late; these types of vessels can service neglected mid-haul lanes in the Far East-Persian Gulf, South Asia and Australia/New Zealand.
