ZIM Expands by an Increased Seven Vessels
Albeit touting themselves as an asset light company, Israeli-based shipping line ZIM Integrated Shipping Services has announced that for an estimated $320m, they’ve acquired seven secondhand containerships over various individual transactions to expand their fleet throughout the month of October.
ZIM President & CEO stated, “Since going public our focus has been to allocate capital to strengthen our commercial prospects and create long-term shareholder value.”
