Taiwanese Bulk Shipper Wisdom Marine Expands
Fleet Expansion for Wisdom Marine
Japan-based Imabari Shipbuilding has been receiving shipbuilding orders from Taiwan’s Wisdom Marine as of late.
Already ordering two handy-size bulk carriers from the Japanese shipyard for $29 million each in early 2020, Imabari will now produce an additional pair of 64,000 dwt bulkers at an approximate $70 million for the newbuilds.
No delivery dates were announced for the latest order however, the two ships ordered earlier this year are expected to deliver in 2023.
