Servers Offline After Cyberattack at Bureau Veritas

A cyber security attack on November 20 at Bureau Veritas (BV) has caused the classification company to enact its cyber security measures almost immediately causing all servers and data to come offline.

BV released a statement to announce of the take down of information. “A preventive decision has been made to temporarily take our servers and data offline to protect our clients and the company while further investigations and corrective measures are in progress,” and continued, “This decision generates a partial unavailability or slowdown of our services and client interfaces.”

Internal IT teams within BV are now working on bring everything back online in a safe and effective way.
