Congestion Strikes with Over 100 Ships Waiting in West Coast Waters

Publisert

Reports from the Marine Exchange of Southern California shows there are 101 containerships that are anchored off the Pacific Coast all the way down to Mexico as they wait for berth space at Los Angeles and Long Beach ports.

An estimated 45 days to berth is what it’s taking on average for ships coming from Asia to the US west coast ports.

Crews were working tirelessly to clear up the backlogged ships in the waters as there is an expected rain storm heading in the area.
