Military Tank Appears Floating in Indonesia Sea

Last week on social media, photos taken by workers aboard an offshore oil rig in the Natuna Sea went viral after showing what appeared to be a military tank floating in Indonesian territory waters of the South China Sea visible showing its turret and gun.

Indonesian officials were notified of the object in the sea, yet it was able to float away before officials were able to reach the object and confirm what or where its from.

A nearby vessel OPS Astrid tried to get close to the object but rough waters prevented it from doing so.

The Indonesian Navy is still searching for the object.

An admiral from the navy stated, “Please wait for a more in-depth analysis. The Navy’s seeking its whereabouts.”
