Container Fee’s Announced for Empty Storage at Port of Los Angeles

Publisert Sist oppdatert

Port of Los Angeles will allow ocean carriers to store their empty containers on the port’s marine terminals for up to 9 days or longer, but comes with a new fee.

Not expected to take effect until January 30 as it still needs to be approved by the Los Angeles Harbor Commission, but the proposed policy states a fee of $100 for up to nine days of an empty container storage on the dock yet increasing to $100 per day until its departure.

A meeting is scheduled for January 13 to hear of the matter.
