Publisert

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was recently signed by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense of Denmark to jointly increase the development of Ukraine’s maritime potential.

Included is a production plan for the construction of multi-purpose ships equipped with the latest technology and the ability to complete search and rescue missions which will be designed by Danish companies yet built in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said, “The Ukrainian-Danish ships of the future will be built at the factory in Ukraine using modern equipment as well as the best practices in the design of our Danish partners. I hope to improve our cooperation with the Kingdom of Denmark, especially in high-tech projects.”

The first vessel is expected to be complete in 2024.
