Rainfall Decreases Allowing Mining Operations to Restart in Brazil

Publisert

Heavy rains had been reportedly battling Brazil last week causing iron ore operations to cease disrupting a near 1.5m tonnes for Brazilian miner Vale who had stop operations at selective mines due to the amount of rain in the area which had the cause for danger.

Vale has now announced that its Minas Gerais operations are slowly beginning as each area has become able to do so.

A railway was cleaned near Vitoria-Minas for transport and Brucutu and Mariana mines are producing in the Southeast. In the South, Aboboras, Vargem Grande, Fabrica and Viga plants are beginning as well and other sites will follow as safety allows.
