Kawasaki Heavy Tapped by Eneos for LPG Carrier
LPG Carrier Newbuild by Kawasaki Heavy Ordered by Eneos
Eneos Ocean Corporation has closed a deal with Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) for a new (LGP) shipbuild.
This new deal is for a 230 m long vessel, a 86,700 cu m liquified petroleum gas (LPG) and liquified ammonia gas (LAG) carrier which will be powered by LPG.
The details of financials have not yet been announced for this contract.
The vessel will come with separate cargo tanks specifically to hold LPG and liquified ammonia at the same time. KHI’s Sakaide Works is expected to complete and deliver the vessel in 2023.
