EU Bans Russian Ships from Docking at Ports
In a new round of sanctions imposed on Russia by the European Union (EU) due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Russian ships have been banned from docking at ports in the European Union. However, the European Commission stated that there are some exceptions, such as Russian ships carrying necessities such as food, energy, and humanitarian.
The European Commission (EC) also noted that it intends to submit a proposal for the ban of Belarusian and Russian road transporters.
EC said, “this ban will drastically limit the options for the Russian industry to obtain key goods.”
