Cargo Ship Fire Near Philippines Leaves One Dead
One Dead After Fire Breaks Out on Containership
The Philippine Coast Guard responded to a call from a containership located just off the coast of Talisay City, Cebu, Philippines, on April 17th, after a fire broke out aboard the General Romulo vessel.
Of the 20 crewmembers, one has died and three were left injured. The Philippine Coast Guard noted that they were unable to retrieve the body of the man who died due to the severity of the fire.
