Thailand Forecasts to Launch Flagship Carrier in 2022
After Thailand’s Thai Maritime Navigation ultimately ceased in 2011, the government is making plans to create another.
Only discussing the idea over the summer months of this year, a few details have now been announced.
Transport minister Saksayam Chidchob advised that they expect to begin domestic route operations in 2022.
They have not announced the private run company that they expect to run it, however, they do have plans in the deal that the Thai government will own 49% of the company via the Port Authority of Thailand.
