Yang Ming establishes French Subsidiary
Taiwanese shipping line sets up its subsidiary in France.
Splash 247 reports about Yang Ming, the shipping line from Taiwan, setting up its French subsidiary in partnership with the local logistics and shipping solutions provider, NAXCO group.
This move comes amidst Yang Ming having established numerous weekly shipping routes along Asia-Mediterranean, Asia-Europe, Trans-Atlantic, as well as Intra Europe routes. These are being serviced from the French ports of Fos-sur-Mer and Le Havre. With the setup of this subsidiary, Yang Ming can further raise its operational stakes in the region, across Europe, and beyond.
Yang Ming France is headquartered in Le Havre, with a subsidiary office in Marseilles. This French division of Yang Ming has started operating from the 1st of January 2021.
In terms of container capacity, Yang Ming ranks ninth in the world. Altogether, it has 90 ships to date, with a combined capacity of 617,400 teu.
