Hapag-Lloyd Invests in Germany’s JadeWeserPort

Hapag-Lloyd Invests in Container and Rail Terminal in Germany
Hapag-Lloyd has announced that it has invested in JadeWeserPort in Wilhelmshaven in Germany.
In the announcement it was reported that Hapag-Lloyd will take 30% of the container terminal shares at JadeWeserPort and 50% of the rail terminal.
No announcements have been made in the price, but Hapag-Lloyd was to have reportedly taken over a portion of Maersk APM Terminal shares.
The contract is not expected to fully close for months and is also still subject to approval by authorities.
