First of Three LPG Vessels Delivered to Hartmann Reederei

One of three 5,000 cbm LPG carriers that Hartmann Reederei has ordered from China’s Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering was recently delivered.

On December 6 the German company took in the GasChem Homer which was designed based in comparison with the ECOSTAR 36k Series (GasChem Bulega) however the GasChem has a duel-fueled main engine that will operate on LPG and MGO to reduce its carbon footprint.

Managing Director Technical of Hartmann Reederei commented, “With our ECOSTAR 36k series, we have gained more than 100,000 running hours of experience operating on dual-fuel/gas main engines since 2016.”
