Houpu Clean Energy wins first international LNG carrier design
Designing two different types of LNG carriers, one with the capacity of 1,500 cubic meters and the other 3,000, will be done by Houpu and CSSC Guangxi Beibu Gulf Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering Design Company, who will utilize DNV specifications. The vessels will have state-of-the-art design concepts to minimize costs and fuel consumption.
As a result of signing the deal, the company is making a substantial move to develop into global markets, receiving full acknowledgement from clients for our LNG carrier techniques, says Houpu.
