Via Twitter, Kenya Gives Speculation on Maritime Border Ruling Involvement
In a move that initially started back in September with Kenya not recognizing the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Kenya’s foreign ministry decided to use the social media platform Twitter, expressing that Kenya “shall no longer be subjected to an international court or tribunal without its express consent,”
This subtle notion comes before next week, when the ICJ is settling a ruling in regards to a maritime border dispute involving Somalia and Kenya wants not be involved.
