Wind Catching Systems Plans to Revolutionize Wind Farms

Wind Catching Systems is a Norwegian based company ready to introduce an innovative new kind of floating, multi-turbine wind technology that has the potential to power up to 100,000 homes.

Their design is a square grid, standing 3x taller than the general standard wind turbines at over 1,000 feet high with over 100 small blades inside.  The grid will be attached to a floating platform that will be anchored to the sea floor.

Wind Catching Systems expects to build a prototype in 2022.  If all goes well, this could revolutionize the wind farm industry and how wind power is harnessed.
