Kawasaki Heavy Wins Contract to Build for KLine

New Contract for Kawasaki Heavy and KLine
Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) has been contracted by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) to build an 86,700 cu m liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied ammonia gas (LAG) carrier.
The International Maritime Organization and EEDI Phase 3 policies will be met by the 230 m long newbuild.
The shipbuilder aims to build more LPG-fueled vessels that exceed environmental criteria and work on liquefied hydrogen vessels.
