Mitsui OSK Lines to Acquire Six New LNG Carriers from Hudong-Zhonghua
In a deal for an estimated $1.18 billion, Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has awarded a contract to CSSC-affiliated Hudong-Zhonghua to build six new vessels.
Hudong-Zhonghua is expecting to deliver the six 174,000 cu m vessels to the Japanese company by 2025 with plans already established to charter with China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) Gas & Power Group.
