New Offshore Wind Contract Given to LS Cable
LS Cable & System to Supply Subsea Cables in Awarded Contract
Looking to expand one of Taiwan’s largest offshore wind farms, LS Cable & System was awarded a contract by CDWE until 2025, to install subsea cables for the Hai Long wind farm project.
The winning bid was estimated at $168.6m in which South Korea based LS Cable & System will supply all extremely high voltage submarine cables.
The aim is that by 2035 Taiwan can reach 15 GW of offshore wind cap.
