Maersk to Halt Shipping Refrigerated Goods to China
Amid China Lockdowns Maersk Suspends Refrigerated Shipping
Due to the recent Covid lockdowns in Shanghai, China, refrigerated containers are now beginning to stack up at the Port of Shanghai leaving less access to the available electrical outlets needed in order to keep the containers at safe temperature levels.
On April 14, AP Moller-Maersk A/S made an announcement advising they are suspending deliveries to Shanghai that contain refrigerated cargo in addition to hazardous items until further notice.
