Magseis Fairfield awarded another contract for North Sea
Seismic survey specialist wins small-size ocean bottom node contract.
Survey specialist Magseis Fairfield has been awarded a small-size ocean bottom node contract by an undisclosed multi-client company for the North Sea.
The survey will be performed during the third quarter of the year and will utilise approximately 500 MASS nodes. This is the second contract the Oslo-listed company has won for the Norwegian North Sea this month.
“This survey is operationally and strategically a meaningful project for us. Using a new deployment technique we are able to propose a cost effective solution to our client.
“This further demonstrates the value of our technology and we will continue to offer this on other hybrid surveys in the future.” said CEO, Carel Hooijkaas.
