New Offshore Wind Energy Agreement for Mayflower Wind in US

Mayflower Wind, an offshore wind developer is looking to install wind turbines in federal waters off the coast of America near the Atlantic Ocean.

As they continue their quest to make offshore wind an important reality, they recently announced receiving a 400 MW Power Purchase Agreement award set by the state of Massachusetts which is in addition to an earlier 804 MW award Mayflower Wind received.

Michael Brown, CEO of Mayflower Wind stated, “This decision is the result of the extraordinary collaboration between our team and the many communities and stakeholders we have worked with over the past several months. It also reaffirms the quality and competitiveness of our bid as well as the expertise our team and sponsors bring to the offshore wind industry.”
