Medevac Needed in Texas by US Coast Guard
On November 7 a 28 year-old crew member aboard a tanker vessel near the Galveston, Texas area reportedly fainted in his cabin and was unresponsive yet stable.
The deployment for medevac services was made after the report was called into the Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston command center approximately around 4:05am and a recommendation for services was made so by the duty flight surgeon.
An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew set out and rescued the crew member and had taken him to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
