New Wind Farm Agreement between Ørsted and T&T

It has been noted that Vietnam possesses ideal conditions to develop offshore wind in Asia with wind potentials around 500GW and with over 3,200 of coastline available to develop along the coasts of the Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan provinces.

T&T a Vietnamese cross-country industry company and Ørsted see a vision to take on that development and signed a new agreement in efforts to develop a multi-GW pipeline of offshore wind projects in the area.

Ørsted’s Chief Commercial Officer stated, “As the global offshore wind leader, Ørsted targets 30 GW of offshore wind by 2030. To support this ambitious build-out, we need to work closely with partners such as T&T, who has an impressive track record of developing large energy projects in Vietnam, and who brings a deep understanding of the market.”
